How can I contact the Eden Project?

How do I get to the Eden Project?
You can reach the Eden Project by bike, on foot, public transport or car. We love cyclists, walkers and people who take the bus or train, so we've arranged a special discount for them. Find out more and get full directions and maps.
Buying tickets for the Eden Project
How much does it cost to visit?
Our ticket prices vary depending on your age, how you get here (eg. bike or car), whether you're visiting as part of a group, and whether you buy at the door or in advance on our website. There are lots of ways to save money! Check out our full buy tickets page for latest information.
Do I need to book in advance?
It's not necessary to book tickets in advance, but you can get a discount if you book a dated ticket online (excluding anyone's who's coming on foot by bike or public transport). Advance ticket booking won't guarantee entry on a busy day, so we'd advise you to get here early anyway – particularly in school holidays and on rainy days mid-week (when lots of tourists head to Eden).
Do I need to print my ticket?
If you book tickets online, you can simply quote your booking reference or show it to the ticketing supervisors on your smartphone or tablet.
How long are tickets valid for entry?
Admission tickets and passes to the Eden site are valid for one year – unless they have an expiry date on them, or are for one of our special events. If you donate your entry fee you can convert your admission ticket into an Advance Pass on arrival at the Ticketing desks, allowing you free entry to the site for a year. Please note, discounted or third party tickets may not qualify for an Advance Pass, including tickets redeemed via Tesco Clubcard vouchers. If you already have a Pass and are not sure when it expires, please contact us.
How do I convert my entry ticket into a one-year Advance Pass?

I've lost my Advance Pass, can I still get in for free?
Give your details to staff at the ticketing desk when you arrive and they will be able to confirm if your Advance Pass was issued in the last year and whether it is still valid.
Do I get a discount for visiting as a group?
Visiting the Eden Project
When is Eden open?
We're open most days of the year except 25 December, when our staff get a well earned Christmas break, and for staff training, which are usually Mondays and Tuesdays throughout January and the start of February. See our full opening hours to plan your visit. Sometimes we have to close the Rainforest Biome early, to give our plants a special treatment that keeps them healthy.
When is the best time to visit Eden?

The busiest days at Eden tend to be school holidays and rainy mid-week days. But even in these periods, you can always find a quiet spot to enjoy Eden – take a look at what's here on our map to see the full range of garden and sculpture displays you can find here.
How long would you recommend for a visit?
We'd recommend that you set aside a good 4-5 hours for your visit, even if you've been before, because Eden's plants and exhibits change throughout the seasons and year on year. Your entry ticket is valid all day, so you can stop for as many cups of tea as you'd like. You could also stagger your visit over several days, as your entry ticket is valid for whole year if you convert it to an annual pass for free either at a kiosk at Eden or on our website.
Is the Eden Project mainly under cover?
Most of Eden's garden displays are outdoors. But you can also visit the Core – a fantastic building full of interactive displays and exhibits – a selection of cafés, and of course the two Biomes (greenhouses). Don't forget your suncream on hot days; you can still get sunburnt through the Biomes.
Can I get a guided tour?
We have designed and priced our one-hour guided tours with large groups in mind. Please book ahead via our group booking team.

Can I bring a school group along to Eden?
Yes, Eden offers a fantastic immersive learning experience for school groups of all ages. Teachers are welcome to take students around the site independently, for which we can provide you discounted entry and free worksheets and trails. We'd recommend that you take full advantage of the site and our expertise by booking one of our curriculum-linked half- or full-day interactive workshops with a trained leader. Please book all school groups in via our schools team.
Is there much for children to do?
We've laid on lots of special things for small people:
- imaginative children's play areas
- impromptu storytelling
- free worksheets to keep them busy
- interactive exhibits
- giant garden sculptures
- children's menu in our cafés
- trails around site featuring shortcuts and hideaways, stepping stones and sandpits
- unique events programme for children throughout the school holidays.

Can I park my car at Eden?

Are dogs allowed at Eden?

Is there a cash machine, postbox and public telephone at Eden?
You can pay by credit or debit card at Eden but there is a cash machine (free to use) in 'The Street' near the entrance to the Visitor Centre. There is also a postbox there and we sell stamps in the Visitor Centre. Please note that we do not have a public payphone at Eden.
Are there any cafes at Eden?
We offer a whole range of freshly prepared food at Eden. Visit our food and drink section to see what you can eat and where.
Is there a shop at Eden?
We have several gift shops at Eden selling gifts, food and plants. We’ve chosen the products because we believe in them; each item is either recycled, made of natural materials, fair trade, organic, locally produced or encourages learning. Our online shop sells many of the same products.
Is there any accommodation at Eden?
Yes, YHA Eden Project is right here on site, with en-suite bedroooms made from shipping containers. In the summer we also offer camping. Find out more.
Do you cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets?
Yes, but if you have a specific requirement or allergy, please tell a member of staff and they will ensure you get the right food.
Can I park my bicycle at Eden?
Yes, we have bike racks. Don't forget to ask for your discount for arriving on green transport when at our ticketing desks! Get more details on arriving by bike.
Can I bring a scooter in?
Scooters, skateboards and roller skates are not permitted on site.
Can I leave my belongings in lockers?
Yes, you can leave your suitcases or rucksacks in our lockers – all you need is a £1 coin, which you’ll get back. The lockers are located near the main entrance at our Visitor Centre Park and Ride Bus Stop, as well as at Banana Coach Park.
Will my mobile phone get any reception at Eden?
Mobile phone reception is good throughout the site on most networks, although there are some blind spots and reception can be disrupted when the site is busy. If you encounter difficulty getting mobile reception and need to make a call, please contact an Eden team member who will be able to assist.
Do you have WI-FI?
We have free wifi throughout the site, with the strongest signal being inside the buildings.
What do I do if I need first aid when at Eden?
We have a dedicated team of first aiders and paramedics. If you are in need of any medical assistance, please contact a member of Eden staff and they will be happy to help.
What are the toilets like at Eden?
We’ve got a whopping 245 toilets, of which we’re very proud! Not only do they flush with harvested rainwater from our site, they have won several national Loo of the Year Awards. All toilets on site are easily accessible and each location includes a dedicated accessible cubicle. We also have a special Changing Places toilet which includes a height adjustable changing bench, a hoist system, shower and space for one person with a disability and up to two personal assistants. What type of baby facilities do you have?
All toilet buildings have unisex baby changing facilities. While we welcome breastfeeding across the site, if you wish to have a private and quiet space, please speak to a team member who can find you the best location on the day.
